The world of work is changing. New trends are emerging
that will affect the work environments of large corporations and small
businesses alike. How much will new practises change the way we work over the
next year? We'd like to find out how job seekers and recruiters use social
media, what they think about smartworking and personal or employer branding. We
want to know how job seekers and recruiters use social media, what they think

change the world of work, the question is, how much will they change our way to
work in the next year – both for small businesses and large corporations.
In 2014 Adecco conducted the Global Social Recruiting
Study in 24 countries to understand how candidates search for jobs, which tools
they use and how they present themselves online. We also interviewed recruiters
to discover how companies operate on social media and what they look for in
their recruiting process. This year we have extended the scope of the study
beyond social recruiting to investigate how social media and smartworking have
changed and will continue to change the way we work. The study will be
conducted in 23 countries, addressing both job seekers and recruiters.
